    ...chequebook and pen!

Who did you like most as a presenter?

    Any memories?

What does a blankety blank cheque book and pen go for on eBay?

Is a Wogan cheque book more expensive than a Dawson cheque book?

Now I have the music to " supermatch game, supermatch game" going through my head, thanks for that!

Preferred Les Dawson to Wogan,he had great facial expressions.Wogan was a tad too stilted, perhaps.
But you forgot Lily Savage in the poll!?!?
She was the queen of sarcasm.

When you think back,it was a good ,lighthearted show-but the prizes were crap.

Now-to rid my head of "supermatch game"!

The TV channel Challenge show Blankety Blank hosted by Terry Wogan every weekday at 7.15 pm, he was by far my favourite presenter.

Felt a disappointment when he took over- he was kindof good but if you watch the re-runs they're a bit cringe in places- Terry made it his own I thought and did the self depreciation bit well without going OTT-it had run its course at that point - Dawson didn't do a bad job but I thought Wogan had the upper hand

I always loved Les Dawson, mostly for his sign off comment "And I'd like to thank our viewer in Blackburn..."

For some strange reason that I can't explain, any episode where Kenny Everett was a guest won it for me. He just tied a shoelace knot in Terry's microphone every week, and that seemed to amuse people, no matter how predictable!

I seem to remember the contestants, in order to score points, had to flip over six shapes (either a circle or triangle) located in front of their desk. For some reason when I was a little kid I was absolutely obsessed with seeing the contestants flip over all six in a row. I cared little about anything else that was going on in the show.

Yes, as you can probably tell, most of the show was wasted on me.
