Licence Requirements: Publising a cover song on iTunes via CD Baby

    Hi all.

Has anyone published a cover song on iTunes Europe (only) via CD Baby?

It is currently my understanding that there is no need to purchase a licence for a cover song if the song is to be sold on iTunes Europe store. As iTunes Europe deduct the royalty fee at source. For USA etc, licences need to be bought in advance.

I'm currently struggling to get a clear confirmation of this from CD Baby.

    Here is my question:

Uploading. Does anyone know, that by ticking only the "Apple iTunes" box on "Digital Distrbutors" on the CD Baby artists submission page, does this limit the distribution to Europe (ie does "Apple iTunes" operate in Europe only?)

OR do you have to un-tick all non-European countries in the Digital Distribution section?

    Thanks...
