I really enjoyed the series, best parts for me was the Golden Eagle held by Mr. Packham, all 5 native Owls in the studio and of course the Squirrel in the barbers :D Oh yes and the foxes.

I like Chris Packham's humour and he's certainly more knowledgeable than his predecessor Bill Oddie.I was still sorry to see Bill go though! It's a great programme and look forward to its arrival each season.:)

Yeah I must admit I'm a big fan of Chris Packham too both from the Season-Watch programmes and 'The Burrowers' programme last year.

You can really tell he's had an interest and passion in wildlife since a young age, and he's very good at encouraging any of the kids they bring onto the shows - he's never patronising with them or anything like that.

I think theres a good mix of personalities and expertise on the show actually - with Chris knowing more than the other two, but the others having a level of interest and curiosity that makes the show a bit more accessible for the average viewer.

Packman is an über geek. I think he's excellent. He knows his stuff.

It's a pity they changed the 'Unsprung' programme format recently;it doesn't have the same appeal with Nick Baker at the helm.

agreed; it's a common format to have the expert and the person the audience will more readily identify with (on a skill level); plus, the song titles slipped into the show is genius.
