power shower advice

Hi just looking for some advice. We currently have an electric shower in the bathroom, it is on the wall in the bath so as opposed to a cubicle you stand in the bath when showering. I was hoping to install an electric power shower in its place and I was wondering what was involved. I have plenty of attic space above the bathroom if I need to fit a seperate water tank to feed the shower. All advice appreciated, thanks.

Are you talking about replacing the Bath and Shower with a Cubicle and Power Shower or just replacing the Shower over the Bath.
Either way you shouldn't need another Tank in the Attic.

I wanted to keep the bath and just replace the electric shower with a really powerful electric shower but as you can see I don't know what's involved, ie separate tank etc, thanks.

What Make Model and Size is the shower you have at present. How long has it been installed. What is the power rating, or how many Kilowatts.
If it were installed many years ago you will need an rcbo dedicated for the Shower only on the fuse Board.
You'll need to make sure the Cable is rated to handle the new Shower
You'll also need a separate dedicated cold water supply from the Storage Tank in the Attic to the Shower.
The Good news is you may already have all of this in place as you have an electric Shower already.

While there are a number of Pumped Electric showers on the market I'd stick with one of the leading two brands. Mira or Triton. If your looking foe something like a Gym Shower or a Hotel shower experienced abroad them you will be disappointed. There is no really powerful electric showers that I'm aware off that can compete with a Pumped Shower. Having said that modern Electric Pumped Showers are more than adequate for a decent Shower. I've sent you a pm with my personal recommendation.
