Could anyone point me in the right direction for one of these?. Can't seem to see a make on it. It's off a 10 year old stanley brandon.

Would this work on the cooker? it says heating .hot water instead of cooker heating. Is it the same only worded differently. The st9400c as suggested has the same writing on it.

That looks like the ST9400C, you now need a felt tipped pen

Thanks Billy. There seems to be a slight variation as in one is a st6400c 1003 mine is an st6400c 1029. if it's only the writing there's no problem. I could live with that. I missed out on that one anyway . At the back of mine there looks to be a battery back up (varta mempac). Losing it's memory wouldn't bother me in the slightest. There seems to be a huge variation in price on the one you recommend. Any idea where i might purchase at a reasonable price? If I ask the local stanley service man he'll charge me a ransom. My electrician isn't coming back untill friday so I'll have until then to source one.

I used to get them from www.hwos.co.uk but haven't had one for a while.

The writing on it is still the same.http://www.hwos.co.uk/trade-store/#!/~/product/category=5516211&id=8886080 . Have you actually seen these used in cookers?
What can the difference be in that and this apart from the obvious writing?

I have fitted 2 in the past, there are a few 2 channel programmers an electrician could adapt but from what I recall the 9400,s backing plate is a straight swop.
