A real birds nest would be a very messy affair for a ring bearer. Suggest you go more for a 'stylised' nest. I don't know where you would buy one,but pound shops sometimes have things that are supposed to be for birds to nest in, made from some sort of plant material, you could possibly re-structure one of those?
