Polymer Clay Question!

Hey just wondering if someone can clear this up for me. I'm looking to make a figure from polymer clay but I was hoping to have a metal support frame inside it. Would I be able to put it in the oven with metal inside? (Probably clothes hanger wire).
Also before I make the model I'll be baking the base which will have the wires protruding from it and then adding the model on separately, would that be a problem?
    Thanks! :)

I wouldnt think it would be a problem , just make sure theres no laquer on the wire. I used to fill my bigger models with tin foil to save clay and it worked a treat
