    Hi All
I'm just wondering would anyone have an idea how much it would cost me to get someone to build a garage onto the side of my house, foundation would have to be laid, and we would need a slate roof, 2 windows and a normal door, 8 metres by 5metres

    15K I would guess.

    Foundation 3K
    Walls 3 K
    Roof- 3-4K
    Window doors 1K
    Plastering 1K
    Wiring/plumbing- 1K
    Micelaneous 2K

    12-20K basically.

I would be including labour on those figures but not VAT.

It is a very rough estimate dependant on what windows, door, roof (flat vs hip etc) slate, insulation (if any), internal finish etc you chose.
