    Hi
Maybe there someone out there that can answer this.
Got this car a couple of months ago. Noticed that when I turn the key that the "Pigs Tail" Glow Plug Light doesn't show. Eventually got it back to the Ford dealer and he says that that model doesn't have them only the older models.
Is that right - perhaps I;m just being too suspicious.

The PSA DW10 engine uses direct-injection, so it is quite possible that it has no glowplugs, yes.

Had a 2013 model two weekends ago with the same engine - the glow plug light did come on but it's for such a short time you'd barely notice.

Dont worry about it if you had a glow plug fault it would bring on an engine managment light.

Cant say i have ever noticed if they have a glow plug light or not modern engines dont rely on glow plugs the way older diesel engines did.

They 2.0 Dw10 has glowplugs but they dont usually come on until the coolant temp is well below 0 Degs C.
They glow plugs are also used to help heat up the cylinders when the engine is cold (This helps with smooth running) and to help increase the temp whenin the cylinders + put an extra load on the engine when its going tru a dpf regeneration...:)
