What's people's opinions on Herbal life products? Rubbish with good marketing and advertising or are they in anyway good?

    Thanks in advance.

When you buy into the Herbalife franchise, you get the rights to sell Herbalife. It's very much the same as selling AVON, in that you take your customers orders, order it to yourself from further up the HL chain and then you hand it over to your customer. To increase your profile locally you are encouraged to run fitness classes, often styled as bootcamp. The difference is that your local avon lady is called 'the avon lady' but herbalife encourage you to be known as a 'wellness coach' which you gain from a 1 day course in a hotel or by 'online' courses.

Herbalife is just a glorified protein drink that you consume and it fills up your daily calories leaving you not hungry and therefore you loose weight or do well in the gym. What ever you are after.

I was a distributor of Herbalife. They have a really good way of convincing their sellers that its a really good product. But to be honest its not.

It is really expensive and I tell you why that it.

They use a pyramid networking system. So If I sign up as a distributor I can sign ten people up under me as a distributor also(these are usually people I have been selling to). Then when they sell I receive a % of everything they sell.
At first I received a 23% discount on all the products to sell. Then when I got 10 people under me it went up to 30% .

Eventually it jumps up to a 50% discount to sell it when you sell enough at 30%

This proves my point that you are not getting a great product paying over €30 for a small tub, you are just fueling a network selling system and making people at the top a lot of money.

So as the product profit is divided among so many people it makes you realise how cheap it actually is.

I then went on to try different protein products and they are just as good if not better.

I use a protein now called Matrix nutrition which is the same price as Herbalife but you get 10 times as much.

Moral of the story dont get sucked in by the Herbalife bull.
You might say your Wellness coach says its great but they are the kind of people they brainwash by cutting them a small% of the profits.
