Just looking into accommodation for Ironman Wales (for partner) this year, can anyone who's been there recommend accommodation there. Cantral would be great to where it all kicks off as such. Thanks in advance.

Stayed in the Hildebrand last year. Literally around the corner from the Transition/Expo
    4.30am breakfast on raceday too.

£33 per night but it looks to be booked out :(
Might be worth ringing to get put on a waiting list or ask them what they would recommed?

Clarence Hotel which is beside the finish line very close to transition area is excellent. There are many small hotels within a few hundred meters of finish/transition. Being a tourist town there is no shortage of hotels.
