Ipod docking stations in stock query..

Morning,

A friend in work wants to get a docking staton for their daughter and has a max budget of £100. What do you have in stock at the minute ? Do you still have any of the Monitor Audio docks left or are they all gone? Let me know. They can collect in stoe.

many thanks for the email and spreading the word  - unfortunately all the Monitor IDecks are long since sold out - we do have the superb S300 Airstream in stock and on display - its £349.95 but we can do a Boardie special at £299.95 - it sounds pretty damn amazing!

..However back in the real world of £100 docks, we do have the Philips DS7530 at just £49.95 which is a cracking deal including 30 Pin dock and bluetooth:

Forgot to say she has the new Ipod model that it the new Apple pin connector. the rWand is unfortunately a finished line for us and the rCube is already at a bonkers low price - its in A1 condition with it's original box complete with accessories - so at £129.95 it really is a low low price for one of the best sounding docks around!

many thanks for the post - none of the docks above have the new lightning connector - (it is actually increasing rare to find actual docks as most products like this now use streaming, either DLNA / Airplay or more and more popular now Bluetooth streaming)

The adaptor you have linked to looks like it would do the job, but I'd be cautious - 1. because with the latest IOS update, Apple have managed to scuttle lots of non authorised accessories and, 2. because the item description says that it does not support Audio & Video output!

Apple actually do an authorised adaptor which is actually a great little toy as it also includes a decent digital convertor built in - but it may be a bit over the top for a £50 dock! Really the only reason to need a dock is if you wnat to charge the phone - all the above units ( except the Chronos) will allow you to wirelessly stream via bluetooth which is far handier!

..unit is as new boxed, with all the accessories - but the power supply has gone walkies,

New one ordered today from Arcam... and we are still digging as the original one must be in the building somewhere...
