If I knew personally a very shady, somewhat dangerous character who fled the republic because of tax evasion, and is now up to shady dealings In Northern Ireland, who do I get onto to report him?

    cheers

Revenue Commissioners for tax evasion. Garda Siochana for other matters.

its a very hard situation to describe. but basically he runs a company up there. but is always on the move, is always back and forth to England bringing cars in and out of the country. This I no as facts, but I am pretty sure theres a lot more to it.

He could be extradited depending on circumstances.

or solicitor or charity executive or auctioneer or accountant or barrister or garda or clergyman or journalist?

Edit: or member of the human race?

If the alleged tax evasion is occurring in Northern Ireland then the relevant authorities to contact are HM Revenue & Customs. You can file a report online, anonymously if you wish:

He may be legit, especially if the cars are being brought in openly

The offences he commuted were in the republic he originally moved to Manchester but has subsequently moved to Northern Ireland. So is it the English or irish revenue you would report it too?

Hes far from legit unfortunatly but always one step ahead of everyone and everything.

Irish Revenue for Irish tax offences. I'm not aware of a formal contact point in Revenue for such matters, you could try the Investigations & Prosecutions Division:
