    Hmm..taking place on a weekend I'm off, with a nice starting time...enticing stuff.
    Take a look here to see how far you could theoretically run before being caught !

    A rough guide as to some of the paces required:

    About 1 hour 10 mins to cover 10KM

    About 1 hour 52 mins to cover a half marathon (Killarney- Killorglin approximately)

    About 3 hours 08 mins to cover a marathon (Killarney- few miles beyond Glenbeigh approximately)

    Are the prizes tempting enough to bring any elite ultra runners?

    I believe there'll be at least one Irish Interantional. My reckoning is a good 100km runner is best equiped to win this race.
