USA plug for iPad?

Hi

Would anyone know if it is possible to buy the little plug bit for an iPad adapte,r for use in the USA, seperately? I will be travelling there in a few weeks and this seems a neater solution than plugging my 3-pin socket into a travel adapter when the iPad version is removable?

I've tried eBay and as usual its a mixed bag of rip-off prices and Chinese fakes...

Any suggestions gratefully received!!

Was going to suggest this as it provides all adapters:

But after seeing that its 39euro I think ebay might be your best bet. That said the travel kit is pretty handy if you do travel a lot. You can use it with phones, ipads and the adapter fits macbook chargers as well.

as it's figure 8, a standard figure 8 cable with standard us plug should be pretty common and cheap over there.
Also gives you a bit of length as hotel power points are rarely where you need them.

if you bring the cable over any one will sell you a usb plug
