The lighter side of appliance repairs

OK usually quite a serious business, but I'm sure many here have had situations that could be quite amusing. So here's my short story.

One of the neighbours washing machine stopped draining water and asked me to have a look.

Cleared out the drain filter and found it stuffed with laxatives (still in their wrappers)!

I just had visions that they had diagnosed the machine with "constipation" and tried to use the laxatives on it! :D

Anyway gave it a good clear out and all is now well.

Not an Appliance but i had a call out to a blocked loo just after St Paddy's day, out with customer and lifted the lid of the septic tank only to find dozens of bright green condoms floating on top :o, someone obviously had a great Paddy's day. :D
