A good news story for once!

I know a lot of complaining about FB happens in these parts (heck, I do enough of it myself) but it seems it has its uses at times!

Fair play to the guy who bought the dog for being on the ball and turning him back to his rightful owner. No reports in the story of a prosecution for the pondscum who stole him though unfortunately - anyone who would steal a family pet deserves the worst punishment imaginable IMO (and yes, I know that's not entirely logical before anyone says it - but it's my gut reaction upon reading a story like this as a dog owner myself!)

Good to see Donegal is still there. Didn't think it survived the bit of wind over Christmas.

We didn't get any wind over Christmas. And even if we did, we would just get on with things, not cry and moan about it like other places.

I reunited a dog with its owner through the power of Boards a few weeks ago.

Where's my news article? I demand satisfaction!

This sort of thing happens all the time on facebook, hardly thread worthy? And why the hell is there an article about it on Independent.ie?

I dunno, you posted here didn't you?

Made the thread because I saw the article - and it's a nice news story for a change :)
