    Hey Guys just wondering has anyone been waiting a long time for the new credit card driving license. It has been nearly 4 weeks at this stage

    HI there, I will have to do the same thing soon! I hope it will be soon for you! Have u tried ringing them? also just out of curiosity did they leave u ur pink licence? Sorry it;s not that much help!

    I was waiting around six weeks for mine but that included the Christmas period which would have added to the delay. They just seem to have a serious backlog that they haven't cleared yet

    I just applied there last Thursday, the lady told me at least a 7 WEEK wait.....

    My son was refused to sit his driving test today as he didnt have his learners permit. He told the tester(and had the letter) that he renewed it at the start of December and still hasnt got it back.
    Very unfair that he is penalised because of something outside of his control

    That is ridiculous. I am living in Canada now and I applied at Xmas when I was home. The reason I applied for a new one is my previous pink one had been damaged. I am planning to go for a road trip in March and Im beginning to get really worried that I wont have a license for it and cant go.

    I applied early jan and was told 4 weeks. Now there saying 6 weeks. Very efficient when applying, I was in and out, but whats the point if your waiting over a month for your licence.

    did you call the helpline and they told you this ?

    I rang them and when i eventually got through they told me this. This is for a learner permit though not a full licence.
