Secret to getting trim like that looking well and for products to last is preparation.

There are several options, but jobs like this are a pain in the arse, so its best to do them once and not to worry about them again for as long as possible.
The market leader for this is gtechniq C4; quite expensive, but worth the money for the time and hassle saved.

Another option is some of the all-in-one type spray on Quick Detailer / Sealant products that are designed for paint, glass, trim. Simple as spray on and buff in to a streak free finish. Quick and easy, so you can do the whole car in 5 minutes. Great for gloss enhancement of the paint, protection and deepening of colour for trim, and protection/beading of the glass too. Reasonable durability from some of them too.

I used Autofinesse a revive on those trims on my Civic. Worked for a while but I think those Homda ones just aren't made to last.

If you're going for the C4 and are in Dublin let me know. I need some, but am too tight to pay for courier delivery for 15ml of liquid ;)

Get them sprayed up and order the gp kit for it

I bought this today as I can't be arsed paying for postage on 15ml of product (I'm worried that there is too much trim in the Volvo!). Combined shipping with a Gliptone kit so I jumped on it. Gets good reviews on DW if applied correctly. I'll post back when I use it.

You'd be incredibly surprised how far a 15ml bottle of C4 can stretch ;)
