Looking to return to college

Im 23 looking to get back into education, maybe a place such as Carlow IT but i have no idea where to start looking in regards to finance or financially supporting myself.

Was on JSA for 2.3 years took a course and have now been back on JSA for 3 months.

Could anybody point me in the right direction?

Yea BTEA and also apply to SUSI for the payment of student contribution fees. You can't get the grant if you get BTEA or vice versa but you can get BTEA and SUSI will (eventually) pay the fees if you are eligible. If you were in college before and it was less than 5 years ago you will have to pay big bucks, if over 5 years you just need a letter from previous college stating dates.

You could speak to the Carlow Adult guidance service. They can go through funding and the application process with you.
