It's Sunday - you are taking it easy or out and about,
enjoying yourself. :) But in the back of your mind you know
That you have work the next day - on the dreaded Monday.

Despite Sunday being a free day it's a "school" night with work
In the morning. And thus - the Sunday Blues.:(:(

Any other Boardsies get a case of the Sunday Blues?

Yep, for me the weekend stops at noon on Sunday. Just can't enjoy it after that.

If you don't work the government gives you money for nothing and every day is saturday

No. Sunday's still a day of reckless, feckless abandon for me. I face my demons at 7am every monday

I work weekends - Sundays are my Fridays :D

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

I find that the Monday is often not as bad as I was dreading on Sunday.
I have a friend who makes the most of her Sunday and
doesn't think of the Monday until she gets up on Monday
    morning.

Mondays are OK. It depends on what your job is and if you like it, of course.

I always liked Sunday evenings to be honest; you settle on the couch and there'd be something to watch on TV. As a kid it might be Poirot or one of those kinds of things; or the last day of the US Open or something, recently we've had Sherlock on Sunday nights which restores that tradition. In the summers then you'd have the final of Wimbledon, or the grand prix to watch.

Nice roast dinner, glass of vino, good TV, stumble to bed for an "early night", bit of an ol' read - nice way to end the weekend.

I love Sundays. I usually have a sociable brunch and then spend the rest of the day getting myself set up for the week. I batch cook, make sure all the laundry and cleaning is done, generally make sure I'm prepared by going over my calendar and have everything I need. It goes a long way to making sure the rest of the week is as pressure free as it can be. It's quite relaxing.

One of the benefits of being a boring old fart is being up early on Sunday mornings, getting in some spannering time and/or a quick rip down to Kinsale on the ol' Thunderace, followed by a nice leisurely lunch. In the afternoon, it's usually a bit of casual shopping with Mrs. Goose, or a nice long walk somewhere. Depending on the form, I may stroll down t'Woolpack for a half-gallon of ale around half-five. Finally, a quiet evening in with t'telly and enough coal on the fire to pull a train from Cork to Dublin. Oh and, I quite like Mondays.

Tuesday is the worst day of the week by far.

Monday - ah may as well get up and get it started with.
Tuesday - what is this, I don't even...
Wednesday - halfway there, not bad
Thursday - ah sure it's almost the weekend ... go on I'll have another pint
Friday - pre noon: Why did I drink last nigh / post noon: I can smell the pub!

I don't really mind it unless I've been drinking a lot on the Friday or Saturday and am on a downer/have the fear from that.

If I'm not hungover I'd be up early with the kids and it's great to do something for the day especially in the spring and summer.
