01 Toyota corolla van

    Hi there i have just bought 2 corolla vans 00 & 01, there is one driving and one needs a gear box. I was informed that all 1.9 Toyota corolla vans are running on Peugeot engine. As i have a 2.0 diesel engine would it go straight into my 1.9 van without having to change engine mounts or anything that would cost too much. Cheers:cool:

    Best to just leave it as it is tbh. They're both outdated engines. Put the effort in if it actually collapses.

    What ecu do they run?

    Them 1.9 PSA diesels have very good reputation (years of trouble free driving). :)

    no, you'd have to change a lot of things such as wiring exhaust etc.
