XBMC isn't a service, it doesnt 'go down'.

Maybe you are having an issue with a specific add-on.

All addons are coming up with error messages like 1channel,mashup cannot connect to URL.
Xbmchub website isn't working

XBMChub has nothing to do with XBMC. It's a dodgy third-party website.

If you're using the wizard from these sites, or their repos, of course you're going to have an unstable box. These guys were screwing around with peoples system, adding malicious code into addons etc.

Just rebuilt the htpc and about to start getting XBMC up and running again.
Any links to the best safe add ons?
