Astra DTI fault

    late 2003 astra 1.7dti, was driving it today and engine management light come on,
    noticed yesterday and today that there was a slight pull back in acceleration but not too bad.
    also its starts up fine.
    just one fault showing up...code is PO370, Think this car has the Isuzu engine...

    anyone able to advise thanks

    According to this website for standard fault code lookups: http://engine-codes.com/p0370.html

    Its a code related to timing. Or the sensor than moniters the engine position for the ecu. At a guess, I'd look in the direction of the crankshaft sensor?

    That code is the crankshaft sensor.
