Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 wont charge

    Hi all, hoping someone can give me a tip on this.
    I bought my folks a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 tablet. Everything working fine but if you leave the charge go down below around 15% you run into big problems. It just wont charge off the mains. Sometimes charging through a PC USB port works but this last time nothing is happening. I have tried everything and left it plugged in over night. The odd time I get the screen to light up and then get one battery bar but then it dies. I also tried pressing the power and volume down button simultaneously but no joy. I searched the web and it seems a common problem but the solutions offered work for some people and not others.
    Any tips from the boards faithful?

    I've seen this a few times with Samsung tablets and phones, the seem to susceptible to dust in the charging port. Try blowing (quite hard) into the charging port on the tablet and also on the cable itself.

    It worked for me on three separate devices so it may work for you too.

    I had this problem durning the week and i tought it was the tablet .i changed the cable for the charger and it was that simple of a fix.try a new charger cable first.€10 in D.I.D electrickal.good luck

    Thanks all.
    I tried 4 chargers with no luck but the 5th one did the job. really weird. The other chargers charged my phone no problem.
