Replacement Snowboard Boot Liners In Ireland?

Hi all, first time poster in this forum, I usually hang out over in Motors.

I am just back from the Three Valleys yesterday (brilliant week with a great range of conditions, VT in particular was fantastic)

Unfortunately my boot liners got effectively melted on the last light after a misjudged attempt to dry them out quickly before packing :pac:

I did a bit of research online and it seems that rather than buying new boots I might be better off spending the money on mouldable liners and foot beds as I do suffer with some front foot pain on very long runs or on narrow ski roads with sustained toe side riding.

So my question is does anybody know if this service is available in Ireland anywhere? I plan on going boarding for another week at the end of next month if conditions allow so I would like to get something sorted ASAP.

Thanks Fattes, I will try Snow and Rock in Dundrum first as that is where I bought the boots a few years back :)

I rang Snow and Rock and the guy reckoned they didn't do fitted liners only fitted insoles so he reckoned my only option was to buy new boots as replacement liners are not available from Vans for my boots.

Pascal wasn't there and isn't back until Wednesday so I might call in on Wednesday evening and have a chat with him.

What I ideally would like is something like this:

Mmmm looks like quite a specialised product and may not fit every boot

Talk to Pascal he will be the best man if he says no sadly it's probably no

Yes I think the mouldable liners are common enough for ski boots but less so for snowboard boots.

Thanks for your help anyway and I will report back once I have spoken to Pascal.

    Quick update:

I was in Snow and Rock today and it turns out they do the Intuition brand mouldable liners, which are supposed to be excellent.

For the liners and custom foodbeds including fitting will cost about €60 more than simply replacing my boots like for like.

    So now it's decision time!
