    Hi folks,

Last week I began to notice that when I accelerated up to or over 2500 RPM my car began to jerk / stutter quite alot and was hard to achieve much higher revs.
I read some stuff and talked to a friend, no one really has a good reason for it or what it could be so help would be much appreciated.
    It's a B6 2.0 TDI passat.

    Cheer.

Bad fuel filter and/or weak in tank lift pump would be the obvious places to start.

Alright, I'll take to my mechanic and see if he agrees.
Also it's not in limp mode.
    Thanks for the feedback!

Another possibility is a borked MAF - which is unlikely to show up on a diagnostic scan.

The quick way to check is to pull the cable to the sensor, and see if that makes any difference. This will throw a code though..

    Update.
Had it scanned ect, apparently there were several codes. My mechanic repaired all but two of them. He said the wiring lume and fuel injectors needed to be replaced. Had that done of Volkswagen free of charge as it's under a warranty scheme. Only had it back one hour and driving along the M50 all the dash lights came on and beagn to beep ect. This did happen before I brought it to my mechanic. I phone VW and they said they done what I ask them to do, my mechanic said surely they done a scan before putting over €2000 worth of parts in.
So Monday I've to bring it back for another scan.
Does anyone have any other ideas what it may be?
    Thanks
