I purchased a Jewell and a Timney with the intentions of field testing both and selling off the one I did not want. Things change, now both are for sale. First come first serve as I check my pm's.

Both are in absolute perfect, new, never mounted condition. They are straight from the factory and have not been fiddled with in any way.

    Timney - €120
    Jewell - €220

I will pay for shipping: track and trace. Buyer will pay for all other costs, such as PayPal, if they choose.

I am disappointed to be selling the Jewell as they are out of stock just about everywhere that I know. I had to call in a favor just to get this one. Have a look at Jewell on Midway. Even in the States, they are back ordered and overdue.

First, a Remington 700 with safety from Timney (721, 722). Timney item #510. Black. Nice wide blade. This is a right hand model. I think it is perfect for a hunting kit.

You can set the Timney from 1.5 to 4.0lbs. Factory set at 3.0lbs.

Next is a Jewell HVRTSBR-A. I believe the previous acronym indicates that this is a Hunter/VaRmint model that has a Top Safety and Bolt Release. It is pre-set for a 1lb pull. The trigger pull can be adjusted from 1-1/2 oz to 3 lbs. Fits the Remington 700 and 40X rifles, right hand only.

I am unsure as to the cross compatibility of the triggers. The Timney is for the 700 and indicates it works in the 721 and 722. The Jewell, again for the 700, indicates it works in the 40x. Logically, I would think either would fit in the 721, 722, or 40x. However, I do not know. I only have 700's.

Please have a look at the detailed images for the bolt release on the Jewell.

Notice that the top of the release (on the left hand side) has been machined to fit and shows signs of polishing/fitting. Again, I have not touched this trigger. This is exactly as she comes from the factory, when the bolt release option is requested. I believe it is part of Jewell's final fitting stage.

It is hardly noticeable in person. If my camera did not have such a great zoom lens, I probably would not have noticed it myself. However, I did, and it is the type of thing I like to be made aware of prior to the item being handed to me.

Both the Timney and Jewell are almost perfect drop in's.
