Mine is not an exclusive group; everyone is part ot TeamShadowClan! :p

Changed a lot over the years, but I reckon I'd have to say CM Punk. Just feel he's as complete a package as possible, in terms of what i like in a wrestler (mic ability, wrestling ability, and a "real" look).
Which wrestler IYO never recieved a deserved push?

I always had a soft spot for London and Kendrick; I get the reasons they weren't pushed (Just Blaze!), but they were two guys I adored watching in the ring. One of my biggest "mark out" moments was the night Kendrick won entry into the WHC Scramble match, and it was even better when he became champion for all of a few seconds.

    tumblr_mnhv4k20pr1rg89a6o1_500.png

I know in theory that means he did get a little bit of a push, but I remember thinking Kendrick had so much potential to be the small guy in the giant's world.
    Whats your fav childrens cartoon?

Mr Benn. In many ways, it was a gateway drug before my addiction to Doctor Who started up :P
Whos your favourite Simpsons character and why?

Toss up between Willie for sheer quotability and Sideshow Bob, who I always felt was like something from a different show but in a good way; I love overarching stories in shows, and you never get that many of them in The Simpsons. So I always loved when Bob popped up. Also helps I love Kelsey Grammer.
If you were a wrestler, what would your name and gimmick be?

Dave Shadow. Ghost white hair and a non-tattooed version of CM Punk. Attire like Brad Maddox. That's the character I always wrote when I was into efedding. Maddox scared me when he debuted as a wrestler as to how close in looks
Whats the best gig you ever went to?

Cheating in a way, but in transition year, we organised a gig for charity. Loads of local bands who were brutal, but was just a great night with a great atmosphere, made better by the fact we organised it.
Whats the best live wrestling event you attended?

Smackdown did a show in Dublin ages ago. There were a few great matches; Kendrick/London did a false title switch to Idol/James which had everyone marking out briefly. Batista/Booker/Finlay had a match made by the crowd; they all regularly broke character laughing, cause the fans were solidly behind heel Finlay. And Taker was there, and it's just incredible seeing him live.

Honorable mention: a TNA show I went to in Orlando round 2005 (I think). First tapped show I had been to. Main event was Jarrett vs Sharkboy and they came into the crowd and had a brawl right beside me (we had aisle seats so not exaggerating). Then Jeff Hardy came running out, and made his first appearance for TNA. At the same show, me and my brother went looking for the toilets, and accidentally ended up in the "TNA Offices"; a set underneath the seats. Always regret not getting pictures of it.
Where will you be watching the Royal Rumble?

    In bed. :P
    Favourite diva?

If I have to pick one....Maria. Cute, hot, serious acting ability portraying an adorable character. And pure sex appeal. Hard to pull all of that off. Actually, maybe she should have been my answer for "Who never got their deserved push".
    Whats your favourite film?

Not sure I can pick one in particular; ones I'll watch if I see them on TV (In a "Drop what I'm doing, that's my night sorted" way).

Jingle All the Way - Arnie at his best. Just adore this film. THE Xmas film for me.
Avengers - Love all the Marvel films, love Joss Whedon so this just works so perfectly for me.
The Truman Show - Feel it's such a brilliant film, and has pretty much everything.
Strictly Ballroom - Studied this in school with a fantastic English teacher, and has always had a soft spot in my heart.
Back to the Future - Again, probably set up my Doctor Who addiction, but I just loved all those films.
Toy Story 1/2/3 - Big Pixar fan and these are the height of their stuff.
The Incredibles - Same as above, but probably my favorite animated film of all time.

Yeah, the list goes on. But those are some of the stand outs.
    Whats your dream job?

    Achievement Hunter.
I will always tell people how great I think those guys are, and in fact all of the Rooster Teeth staff. But getting to play games for a living while working with a fun group of characters like that. Just seems like a ball.
Which wrestler do you most look like ?

    I guess Colt Cabana.

What got you into Pro Wrestling in the first place?
Honestly been into it for so long, I can't remember. Has just been a part of my life since I can remember.

What keeps you interested in it?
I still love performance art though I had to admit a major part of what keeps me going is the IWC; discussions boards like this, communities like this one, are brilliant and I love engaging in discussions and debates.

How did you come across the PW forum on Boards?
I was on the Gamefaqs board for ages, but it was mostly Americas and Brits. I decided one day to search out an Irish forum, found this one and started posting.

What keeps you coming back to the forum?
Again, a great community. While this may sound like licking up as well, the mods are great here; the GameFAQs boards can be very unruly and full of trolls, and I like how in general on here, it's proper discussion and not characters and joke accounts. This coupled with how nice and helpful everyone is here makes this easily my favorite forum on the entire web :)

What other big interest do you have outside of Pro Wrestling?
Gaming, writing, sci-fi (anything set in space or with time travel).

What wrestler/story/moment do you feel had the greatest impact on you as a fan?
Probably the Benoit death. I was over in America for that Raw, and got to see the entire thing break naturally. Had I been in Ireland, I probably would have missed the initial 8-10 hours of coverage when no one knew what was happening. And I would have missed the way it got covered in the American press as well. Being a wrestling fan, but also being in America at that specific time, was bizarre and surreal, but also utterly fascinating.

Where did your username come from?
One day in a boring Classical Studies class, I let my mind draft, and I was writing down usernames for the gameFAQs forums. TeamShadowclan just kind of happened in that vacuum of boredom :)

Any superstar from WWE or TNA currently you would repackage and push and why?

What would you have done to get TBK over?
I think pretty much what they started with the character in WWE, and then stopped straight after the Scramble. The team with Jackson was working and the idea of a character who is tiny but thinks of himself as a heavyweight, all the while having a genuine heavyweight behind him, was great, and it's been forever since we had that sort of character. In a world of giants, a small guy like Kendrick could have offered a genuine different character and a different aspect to the top level, a bit like HBK and Diesel.

What was your earliest memory of Pro Wrestling?
I remember going to a show at The Point when I was tiny. I vaguely remember Diesel and Taker, and being waaay up the back of the arena (a distance no doubt made bigger by how small I was). I remember my brother getting annoyed at the music and crowd noises.

Fav Fed ever? (eg ROH 2007, wwf 99...)
Attitude Era WWF, obviously. Was just before my teenage years, so I think the outragousness of it all was brilliant :)

What forum do you love besides PW here on boards?
Visit the soccer one a lot. Soccer Manager (shamefully plugged in my below sig :P) gets a lot of traffic as well. Used to visit the Teachers section before the HR agreement came in a few weeks back. Louth board gets the odd visit, as does the Entrepreneurial board. But I don't think I am as affectionate for any as I am for this one though.

Whats your favourite computer game ever?
Again, going to struggle to name a specific one as being above all others. Fifa takes up a crazy amount of my time nowadays, but I've pumped 100s of hours into Final Fantasys, Elder Scrolls and a lot of other RPG style games. WoW goes through love/hate periods. Halo as well.

Which wrestler did you end up being in the playground?
    The jobbers :(

Whats your most memorable wrestler cameo in a film/TV?
Mick Foley in an episode of Kitchen Nightmares USA. He's just...there in the background during the reopening of a restaurant. They don't acknowledge him, and I don't even know if they knew who he was. But there he is, eating away.

Honorable mention to Chris Hero in one of those Airport shows; think he was detained by the Australian customs for visa issues. Was weird.

Whats your fav sport besides PW?
Soccer, easily. Man United fan 4 life!

Besides Chris benoit, which death hit you hardest in PW?
Eddie's. That Raw, with the tributes and the matches, had me in bits, especially Stephanie's. And I still tear up when I hear "Hurt" by Johnny Cash.

Whats do you think of the new Dr Who, Peter Capaldi?
Was thrilled with the casting choice. I love "The Thick of It", and thought he was great in Torchwood, so can't wait to see how Malcom takes on the role of The Doctor.

If you could go "back to the future" to the past, what one thing would you alter and why?
Putting the personal things aside, I'd like to go back to the day Moyes was chosen as United's new manager and slap whoever's idea that was :P Maybe try and convince Fox not to cancel Firefly.

Your ultimate karaoke song and/or song you burst into when drunk?
Ignoring the fact I don't drink :P "Gangnam Style". Sure I don't know the words, but I'll dance my heart out! Or "Danger Zone".

Any superstar from WWE or TNA currently you would repackage and push and why?
I think Titus O Neil could be huge if they pushed him as a monster, despite his age. I think Brodus and Tensai as a monster heel team would be great too; drop the dancing and the bright colours and have them eat jobbers.

    1. You can invite 5 people from the world of wrestling to dinner past or present, name them?
    Vince, obviously.
Russo, as a writer, I'd love to talk booking with him, cause even if he was crazy, he still was involved in such a crazy time.
    Heyman, same reason.
Cornette, just for the fights with the other ones. And again, to talk booking.
CM Punk, for his pipebombs :P

In other words, mostly people who write the stuff I enjoy and remember :)

    2. Same Q but the people can be from any walk of life?
Burnie Burns, founder of Rooster Teeth. Not the stereotypical hero, but a personal hero of mine.
    Stephen King. My favorite writer.
Sir Alex Ferguson. The United fan in me would love talking to him.
Joss Whedon. Creator of so many great shows and movies.
Arron Sorkin. Again, creator of so many great shows.

Once again, heavy on the creative influences on my life.

    3. Wine or Beer?
    Lucozade ;)

    4. Water or Coke?
Depends on if I'm having a healthy day or not; will tend to have coke when out though.

    5.Snickers or Marathon?
    Mars bar.

    6. Finally Billy Gunns Ass Man Theme or Regal’s real mans man theme?
Ass Man all day long :P

When's the PW boards podcast coming back :P

    Um.....eh.....

    *Runs*

Nah, we should look to do another edition round Mania time when interest in wrestling is at a high.

What debut/run has disappointed the most after hearing so much about them or seeing promos?
Like I said when asking the others this question, Preferably not one of the WCW/ECW guys in the Invasion since they were pretty much fubar in comparison to what they were in their previous companies.

What WWE star do you think doesn't deserve the push they're getting and who do you think has a poor gimmick?

Who would you push and how would you push them?

Who that has left WWE would you a)like to see back and b)think will be back

Who from another promotion that you're aware of would you like to see in WWE?

    Who's your favourite muppet?

Gimmick you hated at first but it really grew on you?

Best repackaging of a WWE Superstar? Outside the obvious ones like Austin and The Rock.

Can you cook/what'd be your favourite thing to cook?
Love cooking and baking, and on a bit of a "Cook everything from scratch" thing at the moment. Find it massively therapeutic. Favorite thing I cook is a home made Cottage Pie; real simple recipe involving a can of tomato and half a bottle of ketchup. Not the most complex thing I can cook, but I'll have platefuls of the stuff. Also love a Thai Chilli Duck stir-fry recipe I got recently as well.

After a night out, you're hungry, where do you go and whatcha order?
There's a local Chinese called the "Ming Garden" in Drogheda; it's the measuring stick for all other takeaways the world over for me. Their curry is just perfection.

What TV shows do you think more people should watch?
The West Wing is my favorite show so I'd say that, but I also adored Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, also by Sorkin but never seen that much and only got one season. Was a really strong show except for the rush to wrap everything up at the end. Well written, acted, directed. Just solid overall.

Favourite piece of wrestling merch you own?
My World Heavyweight Championship replica. The Big Gold Belt sits pride of place in my room atop my bookshelves :P

Are there any genres of music you despise?
Honestly, no. I guess this is coming across in this topic, but I've got a pretty diverse taste when it comes to entertainment, and music is no different. I'll listen to pretty much anything once it's got a catchy beat, be it rap, pop, rock or classical.

    1. Which wrestlers have you met in person and any interesting stories to tell?
Met a few at the AWR show in Dundalk a few years back. Had Bret, Eugene, Scotty 2 Hotty. But I've never got to signings or that so not had direct meetings.

When I met Scotty, he was doing a signing before the show, and Joe E Legend was there too, right beside him. I walked up, rocking a WordLife hoodie and both remarked on it, asking where I got it, saying it was cool. So I go to get my picture taken with them, when this kid of about 7 or 8 runs up and stops dead in front of us. He looks at Legend and goes...."OH. MY. GOD!"

"ITS THE SANDMAN!" and then runs off at top speed. Me and Scotty start laughing hard, and Legend looks dejected, screaming after the kid "Do I look that bad?!?!". Was just a real nice, genuine moment between me and some wrestlers I saw on TV. :)

    2. Three favourite bands of all time?
Foo Fighters, Sum 41, S Club 7 (yeah, I know....)

    3. Which countries have you been to?
Ireland, England, Wales :P Germany/Austria (was a school trip and was never sure which side of the boarder I was on), France, America a few times, Dubai, and a few of those islands round Africa.

    4. Which country has the sexiest women?
    Ireland ;)

    5. How many wrestling shows have you been to, and list as many as you can remember.
Everyone in Dublin since WWE started coming back, bar the RDS show.
    The Dundalk show mentioned above.
And three TNA tapings at the Impact Zone.

    6. nWo or DX?
    DX
Never saw much nWo so most of my exposure to them is via DVDs and their WWE runs.

    7. Favourite xmas song?
"Fairytale of New York". Cliche, for a reason.

    8. Favourite place to go in Dublin?
Vicar street is fast rising up that list. Forbidden Planet by the river is a mecca to my geek-dom. And round the Spire is great for watching the world go by.

    9. Home and Away or Neighbours?
    Grew up with Neighbours.

    10. Any piercings and/or tattoos? Or future plans here?
None. Wouldn't rule out tattoos, but would need to be something special and probably something small. Something to remember an important moment or that, but something that would be private for me and whoever was involved in the reason I get it.

    11. Do you lift weights or do any sports?
In Korea, gaming is like a national sport, so technically...
    :P
I started DDP Yoga a few months back, but threw my back out and was barely able to walk for a while. Then I fell in Dublin at the last WWE show and have had a bad pain in my side since, so not been able to get back to it. But it was really good while it lasted, and hopefully will get back to it once my side heals up.

    12. Ever had wrestling training?
No. I'd love to some day though. I just have this fear of pain which could be an issue. That and an unwillingness to touch other guys who are hairy and sweaty and yucky. :P

    13. Favourite actor?
Nathan Fillion or Martin Sheen. Can't decide right now.

    14. Favourite actress?
Felicia Day right now. Just something about her on a screen that keeps me transfixed. :)

    15. Hottest Diva/Knockout ever?
Maria, as stated above. Just loved her.

    16. What soccer team do you support?
    Man United.

    17. Best day/weekend of your life?
That's a long story and a toss up between two, and if people bear with me, I'll put it in a separate post tomorrow morning.

    18. Favourite ever sitcom/comedy?
Friends. Can't say how many times I've watched it, mainly thanks to and facilitated by E4.

    19. You can invite one wrestling personality for dinner, who do you choose and why?
If it's only one, then Paul Heyman. I'd say he's the type of guy who could just talk and talk and tell such crazy stories for hours.

    20. Top 3 entrance themes?
Batista's "I Walk Alone". Edge's "Metalingus". DX "Break it Down".

    21. If you were a pro wrestler, and you have a few hours spare one evening, would you be most likely spotted doing a) visiting sick kids in hospital, b) out looking for women, c) hit the gym for weights and training, or d) spending quality time at home all day with friends and family.

A or D. It's a tough one. I mean, visiting kids is a great cause and I respect the likes of Cena who gives so much time to them. But also then, family is hugely important to me, and if I'm on the road all the time, I'll want to take what time I can get to spend with them.

    22. Favourite Tarantino movie?
    Inglorius Bastards.

    23. Austin or Goldberg?
Austin. Same as nWo, Goldberg passed me over a bit due to not seeing much of WCW.

    24. Cats or dogs?
    Cats.

    25. Favourite city in the world?
    Orlando, Florida. Just my heaven.

    26. Favourite 2013 made film?
Weak year overall in my opinion, but Star Trek Into Darkness. Not much competition though.

    27. Favourite xmas movie?
Jingle All the Way. PUT DA COOKIES DOWEN!

    28. Favourite soccer stadium and/or sports arena?
    Old trafford.

    29. Prediction to win the World Cup next year?
    Belgium

    30. Favourite wrestling book?
Rise and Fall of WCW. Great book and have read it multiple times.

    Will answer more tomorrow :)

    17. Best day/weekend of your life?
Right. There's two that draw here. And both work on the basis that while I did have a few friends in school, I was never Mr. Popular. I always did my homework on time, never caused problems...you know, the type of kid who some call a kiss ass or whatever just cause he worked hard. But never part of sports teams. The friends I had were made when I was smaller, and never been great at making new ones after them.

So anyway, there was twice that I managed, somehow, to become popular, albeit briefly.

You wouldn't imagine the captain of the debate team would reach popular heights. But when I was in 5th year, the team made it to the All-Ireland finals. Which was a big achievement, cause the school did ok in Sports but never all that well with the academic side of things. The finals took place in Trinity College, and we knew there'd be people coming cause we'd had a growing "fanbase" as we progressed and had to travel further afield to schools to compete. But we hadn't been told how many people were coming.

Before the debate, we were ushered off to a room for a final discussion about gameplans and such, and then got the call we could head to the theater. And as we walked, we had to pass through the crowd. We managed to bring a crowd of 200 supporters with us, about 50 teachers (which was incredible) and 150 students. They all started cheering and chanting our names, giving us a massive heroes reaction. Was just a brilliant feeling. It capped off just such a brilliant day.

And we lost the finals, sadly. But I'll never forget the support we got that night and the atmosphere that was created, and over a debate of all things.

On a similar note, I went to a local drama school for years between the ages of 15 and 21. As the pudgy, shy, tone-deaf kid, I was never in line for big roles. Tended to be stuck at the back, or given minor characters. But never much big.
Until one year, they decided to increase production values, and brought an English director over to produce a big production of The Wizard of Oz. And while most of the roles went to the darlings of the company (the same two guys kept getting the main roles in all the productions), the director, for some reason, chose me to be the Cowardly Lion.

The popularity which came with being one of the top guys in the production was incredible. Now, granted, the girls from my age group all gravitated towards the older guy who came in, despite him showing up drunk a few times and being rather unprofessional. But the girls in the age group below me (so the 16-18 year olds, while I was in the 18-21 year olds) moved a bit towards me :D Even had myself an emo stalker.

I have no problem making a fool of myself for shows, so was able to act the comedy fool, which made me quite popular. That, added to the crowd reactions and the joys of preforming....was just one of the happiest times of my life. Sure, it was superficial. But I didn't care. :)

I bet Nathan Fillon is as nice a guy in real life as he is on tv.
How are you doing nowdays with your trouble after the fall, the docs still messing you about yeah?

I've had a consistent discomfort in my side since I visited the doctor's last week, which is annoying as ****, and I'm a tad worried over how I feel it's affecting my breathing a bit. But the pain is dying down, which is something. Fingers crossed it keeps improving.

What order do you rate everyones roster in the draft so far
Ah, I love you all equally. :P I'll make my decisions when it's time to vote.
