I personally think the parents accidently killed him and hid the body. The search thats going on now is just part of an elaborate cover up. Very similar to the Madeline McCann case. Im sure plenty of people who berate the McCanns agree with me on this case.

    Wild speculation, not very helpful.

I personally think that the world is flat and rests on the shoulders of four elephants standing on a giant turtle as it swims through space.

Well, I don't, but as long as we're making sh it up with no basis in fact then I want my go.

Maybe a custody tug of war perhaps?

    Thanks I'm on mobile.

    And a fortune-teller.

edit: even a brief read of the story indicates that the little boy's coat and shoes are also missing and that his father can't be contacted.

To suggest 'his parents' incorporating his mother have been involved in killing him is really quite ignorant if not outright offensive at this stage.

    I hope he's ok.

Ok he is missing since this morning and super sleuth here already has solved the case.

I can almost hear the cogs in your head turning as you ground out this conclusion....young child goes missing from bed and mother alerts police on discovery. Hmm where did i hear something like this before. Holy smokes batman the McCann case....the media was full of speculation that the parents accidentally killed the child and hid the body. Quick call the commissioner I've solved the case.

Exactly what a quick read of the story would suggest and what the journalists are implying in the story with out saying it... no evidence of criminality, shoes and jacket gone, father not contactable.

I think the OP better call the Scottish police to let them know what really happened....and quick before the mother kills again.

The Father has been estranged since he was born more or less so its highly unlikely
