Dried Violets?

Hi guys,

Having a hard time tracking down this - I have a craving for crystallising sweet violets, maybe making some vinegar or some syrups, but I can't put my hands on violets. Any recommendations for buying them dried online? Haven't had any luck finding suppliers that will sell to me below-bulk (I don't need 20KG...) or to Ireland at all. I've ever tried growing them, but to no avail.

I got some from this company but I was living in the UK at the time. Can always see if they will deliver to Ireland or use Parcel Motel.

sorry, reread the OP and realised you want to sugar them yourself. I'd just grow the violets myself. I spent ages looking for lavender for cooking then realised I could use my friends from her garden and save myself a fortune.

Fallon and Byrne should have violet syrup. I've also seen fresh violets there and dried lavender (also lavender syrup).

If you're near town, worth popping in to see what they have.
