    Hi guys anyone ever use one of these to get off stubborn wheel nuts I am strongly thinking of getting one to take wheel nuts off trailers and I am just wondering are they any good ??

    They do work, albeit a bit slow compared to an air-gun. If it's just for your own use they do get the job done.

    Would it be too risky to take a torch to them and heat them up and then try

    The torque multipliers work better cold. Easier to hold to.

    Have one here and it works grand,you don't even need to clean off rust from a stud though I would advise it.Bought it at the ploughing last year,85 yo yo's I think or something like that.

    You can't beat heat though to loosen anything.:D

    very good, i just bought one, did get a lone of one before of a friend, the gear inside always came off, i solved this with a small weld, still works good

    I got one at the ploughing as well , 60 euros though. Another chap had one for 50
