    I would not trust a price comparison site that is not independent of the airlines.


    And will they compare prices AND distance of the airport from your destination?
    Frankfurt airport - 20 miles from Frankfurt city.
    Frankfurt Hahn - 60 miles from Frankfurt city.

    This service has been around since 2011 (Google Flights) and is very much independent from airlines. From what I can tell it is just an improvement of the existing service which will be able to pull price info direct from airlines (not just Ryanair) instead of the current system which goes through 3rd parties - hardly what I would call "teaming up"

    I don't know where you're getting those figures from, but they're much worse than that. More like 12-13km from Frankfurt airport to the centre (depending on where exactly you consider that to be) and 125 from Frankfurt Hahn.
