    Hi

My girlfriend and I have booked flights to Rome and return from Naples 12 days later, in July.

We are not sure how long to split up the time between Rome and Sorrento.

Sorrento looks nice, but i think we may be bored quite quickly. Any other interesting places close to Sorrento once we have been to Pompeii etc?

Would 4 nights be sufficient in Rome?

Any hotel recommendations for Rome and sorrento?

    Thanks a mil

We done a similar holiday, flew to Rome, stayed for 4 nights then got the train to Naples and then onwards to Sorrento for a week, came back up to Rome for a night and then flew home.

You could visit Capri, it's expensive, we didn't travel further down the Amalfi coast just chilled but very enjoyable
