i was setting up a new processor and motherboard today.
AMD FX8-8320TX is the processor, the mother is Gigabyte 970A-DS3P

i found it very hard to secure the heatsink to the board, its on now, but it was a strugle, it was very tight....

is it a good thing that it was so tight,? or should it have been a bit easier to fit than it was... ??

sorted it yesterday, by loosening the screws that the heatsync connects to.
then cleaned off and re-applied the thermal paste.
re-seated heatsync, then tightened the screws again.
