    I have a 98 pajero its smoking like a trooper. What can it be? its has loads of power and its not using oil or water. Smoke is blue

    what's the fuel usage like compared to before?
    starting and idling okay?

    could be injectors?

    Bit rough on start up and while idling.
    Hard to tell with fuel only do short runs

    Drained out tank cleaned all fuel lines and new filters about 2 weeks ago.

    the front injector pump seal is a common fail on the 2.8

    thought they were alike... but just googled there and it appears it's not an issue with the the 2.5

    blue smoke usually means burning oil, is there a blow from dip stick?, if it was white smoke means not getting enough fuel, and black smoke its getting to much fuel, they all smoke a bit when cold.

    Possibly the egr valve, i'd clean it or blank it off
