Being super lazy

What is the laziest you've ever been?

For instance today I had a day off work and literally did sweet FA, only getting out of bed to have breakfast, which I ate at 3pm. Right now I'm back in bed and wondering if I'll bother to make dinner. I don't know if I'm lazy or depressed.

How lazy have other AHers been?

    I'd go with depressed.

Many a time I woke up in bed only to get up and go down and fall asleep again on the sofa....

We used to live in a flat above a curry house and get home delivery all the time!:p

I tend to bingewatch Netflix shows from bed, My computer is on the other side of the room. Every 90 minutes or so Netflix stops and asks you do you want to continue playing, so I have to get out of bed and hit spacebar. F**k that. I downloaded a unified remote on my phone so I can control my computers basic functions from bed through the wifi. I'm not sorry.

Sounds like you're in a rut. Everyone gets in ruts. If it lasts for ages, you might want to get it checked out. Otherwise just enjoy the down time.

Sounds like a waste of a day to me. When you're old you may have no choice but to stay in bed for the whole day so for the foreseeable future maybe you should find something more productive to do with your days?

I used to do this and really enjoy it, was a novelty staying in bed all day watching tv and eating crap. Now I don't have the motivation to do anything else. People try and offer tips and advice but I don't care enough to listen. It's pretty scary hearing how worried people are about me, but I just don't want to move.

I stayed in bed for two days before.

I just feel very little motivation to actually do anything. I feel safe and secure here cocooned in my leaba. I have anxiety issues and the thought of having to interact with other people sometimes fills me with dread.

I get up and go to work because I "have to" not because I want to.

I'm the same. Even more so since I moved into shared accommodation, I live in my room eating junk so I don't have to interact with my housemates in the kitchen. :P If I didn't have college I'd never leave my bed!

Sat on my couch one afternoon, looked down at the shop outside my window and rang them to deliver bread and milk... That was pretty up there in terms of laziness.

Anxiety and depression are bedfellows so the sooner you talk to your doctor the easier the recovery will be.
There's plenty of support out there to make things easier for you.

Imagine people naked Jk. That helps.

Then Google them and see if they have any naked pictures. I'm 5/60 right now ; and rising.

Yeah, I had this same problem, so bad that I actually ended up going to a doc over it. He said something about promasturbating? So, that's just what I did and I doubt there's anyone in the world that could ever beat me.

I work from home and tend to do the bulk of my work in my bed.

I suffered third degree burns to my knees and lower legs once from watching telly in front of a blazing fire.

It was hot, but I just couldn't be arsed sitting back from it.
