What happens when your GID expires? Do you need to fork out the full fee again or is there a reduced rate the second time around?

5 year re-assessment has now been approved so you will have to re-sit your exams. There is a 5 day re-assessment course available to brush up on forgotten skills & updated regulations.
Leisure & accommodation vehicles is now part of the re-assessment.

Look at the Metac.ie website for pricing, depends on if you opt for training (1/3/5 days up to you) or just go ahead with the assessment without training.
You don't HAVE to opt for training like the first time around
