    Huawei HG556a DSL Imagine VOIP settings

    Have read through this post http://www.boards.ie/ttfthread/2056462280 about VOIP settings for the router above and need some more info on exact inputs to the setup screens.

    “SIP Server
    Setup SIP Setup
    SIP Proxy Server Address sip.imagine.ie
    SIP Proxy Server Port 5060
    SIP Registrar Server Address sip.imagine.ie
    SIP Registrar Server Port 5060
    SIP Service Domain sip.imagine.ie
    SIP User Setup SIP Settings
    Active SIP Account
    SIP ID username@imagine.ie
    Authentication
    User Name username@imagine.ie
    Password ***********
    SIP Advanced Setup
    Interface Name SIP Local Port 6050”

    After setup I get the following under “Service Status”

    “Telephony Your telephony service is not available.”

    When I try to call the VOIP number (076etc) the call fails and when I call from the handset plugged into “PHONE1” the caller ID on the receiver handset is the landline number. Are those entries correct? Is username@imagine.ie correct for the “SIP ID” and “User Name” or is it just “username” or should it be the VOIP number (076etc). Should "SIP Local Port" be same as in "SIP Registrar Server Port"

    Any help appreciated.
