I know that Masters is aged 30+ and Vets 40+. I think that the cats only really apply for National Championships as ordinary races in both Road and MTB are categorised by ability rather than age ie. A1, A2 etc? I'm guessing that somebody over 40 can opt to be either a Vet or a Master?

but be careful if you intend doing vets champs you need the vets designation on your licence. if you wish to do the senior champs then you need senior on it. Last year there was a bit of a problem with vets doing the senior track champs..they werent allowed.

Put down "VET" for rider category and "Master" for UCI category (unless you want to ride the nationals as a senior, in which put "Senior" in the rider category section)
