    i have an 04 nissan micra 1.0l and it takes ages to clear the windscreen. i reckon the cabin air filter needs to be changed. anyone know where it is located ?

    I would'nt think any manufacture would put that much work on anyone as its a serviceable part..
    Get your head into the footwell below the glovebox and you should see whats in the diagram..;)

    Aye, usually these aren't too hard to replace. The part number should be somewhere on the old filter. Put the number into ebay and you'll find a replacement.

    managed to get my big head into the footwell. impossible to remove without moving the glovebox. found this vid

    same on toyotas. you have to remove the glovebox.

    These should be changed at every service which most places don't.

    They are not made easy to change on most cars for some reason more then likely so a garage has to.

    On the K11 you have to remove the glovebox and cut the serrations on the backpanel to get it out.
