    Has anyone here done it?

Have easy access to kegs but wondering what's the best way to fill them with sand and cork them? Would be nice to be able to fill/empty it as needed too.

I'd say fill them with a funnel and tape the absolute **** out of them. That or, thread the keg if it's circular and chance finding a cap or something you could tap.

Fill with sand, cover the stop with some sort of heavy rubber and secure with a large jubilee clip.
