This has been bugging me for years but in the early to mid 80s there was this mini series about a war between The USA and The Soviet Union. The only bit from it that I can clearly remember is from possibly the final episode where the two sides are fighting a battle and then a truce is called. An American and a Russian officer meet in no mans land and have a "war is hell" type discussion before shaking hands. One of the Soviet soldiers looking on is clearly not happy with this and throws a grenade.I can't remember what happens next.Does it ring a bell with anyone?

Ha ,I was convinced up to to about the age of 6 that the second world war was still going on and the British and Americans were still fighting Germany.Kellys Heroes was one of the first films I remember seeing on the telly, I must have been about three.

Pity as Amerika was a load of tripe...i rented the 3 part boxset in the video shop and ended up fast forwarding through nearly all of it.
