Myself and my partner are buying our first car and on a budget of around €1500.We just want something small and handy but its not are area of expertise and are really worried about getting ripped off. Can anyone recommend good places to buy and what we should be checking for? Thanks

my best advice would be to get a mechanic that you trust or know and buy a car off donedeal or wanna them sites because dealers are alot steaper and not always honest

For 1500. One of the best small cars would be a Toyota Yaris. It will be a 99 or 00 Yaris. You won't have trouble and when you go to sell you'll still make your money back from it.

my mother has a yaris for the last 5 years gave no bother until recently but still nothing major just the door got loose so it kept the light on and drained the battery over time but quick fix good car if thats what ur after
