See a rowing machine on offer at the moment on Groupon. Suitable for my use and weight. However lenght seems to be 128cm, I am 6'3" so am I too tall for this machine? Apparently its down to leg length and not height. Any tall people with experience of rowing machines?

Unless you row with your head, it's probably ok. Leg length is more important. Unless the max distance from the footrests to seat is shorter than soles to your ass, it'll be fine.
But I think the machine itself is probably poor. Half decent ones don't have to offer deals on Groupon.
