Have a couple of weanlings to squeeze and was all set to do it tomorrow but lad I work with is saying to wait until after the full moon which is next Thursday (16th).
Is he right about this or should I work away tomorrow

Ha ha, old lad insists on doing it when the moon is going back, they'd swell up something savage otherwise, or so he says. The moon has an awful pull on the stones.....

The moon has to be going back for some reason. - I think the cattle came up with the idea. Would you blame them ?

do you really have to squeeze i doubt you would like it be done to you. be natural let the bulls live a happy existence without the pain of this . they will be dead soon enough anyway.:)

The old people say that around here aswell. The moon should be waning. I always thought it had to do with the weather. Less likely to get bad weather.

If you can do it when he says to do it and keep him happy. A lot of times there is some truth behind "old wives tales".
