Best vests?

My price range is 60. Want a cool looking black one, Have no idea what to look for when buying. Cheers guys!

What kind of AEG are you using? Just some vests pouches don't fit certain magazines. You looking for a Molle (so you can switch pouches) or fixed pouch vest? If you're a regular skirmisher it's often worth asking other players, they are usually happy to share details.

I ffind plate carrier ones good. They have plenty of molle space so you can put things where you like pretty much anywhere on your upper body. There is a tendency to fill every mm of space but it is Airsoft after all. They do tend to be a bit restrictive and warm in the summer but in the winter months are nice to have.

I also have a viper SA assault vest. Its a lot cooler so is very good for summer. The pouches are fixed in place and have buckles which I find very annoying but the pouches are nice and big.

You can also get vests that just have molle around the stomach area but some allow you add more molle to the chest. These commonly have two straps accross your back making them lighter.

I originally went for the SA vest because it came with all the pouches but then I realised I prefered to be able to put pouches where I wanted. I also prefer open pouches without Velcro or buckles.

Your best bet is to maybe go to a game or two and get a few ideas from what others are using.

Airsoftguns.ie have a few. I have a plate carrier from there and its very hard wearing. Some of the molle sections can be a bit tight but other than that it does the job . Taiwangun have loads of types at decent prices. Free shipping over 69 euro if your interested in getting other stuff.

Are you looking to buy new or 2nd hand? If you shop around you can pick up real vests 2nd hand in pristine condition for around your budget. I picked up a black molle global armour vest for about €70 and got it kitted out for my mp 5 mags with R/S pouches for another €30 odd.

Got it in a local surplus dealers. But you can pick them up on ebay from time to time.
