I have a camera on my 110 with the screen built in to the rear view mirror which is more intuitive to use. Plenty on ebay but I got mine here - http://shop.reversingcamerasuk.com/ - good service and good advice on the site.

I didn't wire mine to the reversing light, just tap the screen when I want it on which is useful for keeping an eye on the trailer load on the move (camera is at roof height)

The camera I have on my 110 is - http://shop.reversingcamerasuk.com/epages/es106294.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/es106294_shop/Products/CAM071W

I got it because it was small and neat but it's CMOS and no IR so isn't great in the dark. Image is very wide angle so is distorted, I can see both rear corners and the tow hitch. OK for close in coupling but no good for manoeuvring.

My bro in law has a the more standard type on his 130 which I may change mine for the same - http://shop.reversingcamerasuk.com/epages/es106294.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/es106294_shop/Products/CAM071W

This is the monitor we both use, we have them permanently live rather than switched by reversing light - http://shop.reversingcamerasuk.com/epages/es106294.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/es106294_shop/Categories/M700_series

On a Defender you'll have to remove the existing mirror, make a new bracket and trim the sun visors otherwise the mirror ends up in the middle of the windscreen.

Get a system with waterproof connectors and you may need an extension cable. Cost was around £150 per system.

    Hi all,
Can anybody recommend a fitting service for sensors and a camera for a Hilux ?
My Dad is thinking of getting a 2003 Hilux crew cab, but he's a bit worried that it maybe a bit large for reversing so I suggested teh camera and / or sensors.

There are a few websites like parkingsensors.ie and caralarms.ie and wondering if anybody has used them ?

I know I can buy them on eBay etc but I just don't have the time to do it, so if there was a fitting service anyone could recommend it would be great (we're in the midlands)
