Hey guys, I was wondering could anyone help me, in a bit of a pickle.

I have been refused the grant due to previously attended undergraduate level 7 course in 2008/09.

I'm currently doing a level 7 and my fees are 3k this year. Next year presumably will be more expensive again. Would I be better off leaving the course and starting a level 8 next September as without the grant I will struggle financially as I won't get the grant for the next 3 years currently. I'm on BTEA at a reduced rate and in a part-time job.

Just trying to weight up my options, any ideas greatly appreciated.

Speak to your student union welfare officer.

If you attended in 2008/2009 for one year only then this would only make you ineligible for the grant for one year not for three!

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
