if you try an fix it you void the warranty so its not worth even trying with a new AEG. Just bring it back to the shop and get it replaced.

hmm they're not really bad BB's. Maybe try some KA or Excel BB's? it definitely sounds like a hop up problem though. Unless it's a tappet plate problem. It may be broke and caught in an awkward position allowing BB's through the odd time.

Are the first three bb's getting stuck - If you tilt the gun will they roll out the front of the barrel?
Did you take the hop off completely? When they do come out what kind of power do they have - do they dribble out or have normal velocity?

Still take it back to the shop though for warranty but might be useful info to give them

tried my friends mags but they didnt fit from them being spray painted

turned out to be the mag part that feeds bbs into gun was strangely shorter then its meant to be

Out of interest, did the mag release work correctly? Have an issue with an mp5 and the cyma 560 round hicaps which sounds similar to that and it also causes the catch which grabs the magazine to not seat properly.

it came with a 68 rnd mag the round bit where the bbs go from mag into gun was half the hight it should have been
